Amy Bridwell joins her family on a Grand Tour of the Continent—the trip her former sweetheart James proposed they take as newlyweds. In the fashionable resort town of Spa, she unexpectedly encounters him, now engaged to another. As old feelings resurface, Amy must face the choice she made six years ago and the possibility that her heart has never truly moved on.
Lady Sophia Rowlandson has spent years perfecting the art of quiet composure—broken only once, at a country ball when she was fifteen. Branded a lackwit by an insensitive neighbor, she was rescued by the unexpected gallantry of his visiting friend. Mr. Harwood’s defense lingered in her memory, and not even a separation of four years succeeded in dimming her admiration.
Once the most charming rake in London, John Aubin lost everything when he overheard a powerful earl’s fraudulent dealings. Branded a liar and cast out of society, he now lives under an assumed name, working in the very orphanage the earl owns. But Aubin’s purpose isn’t charity—it’s revenge. Sober and focused for the first time in his life, he plans to expose the earl’s corruption and reclaim his good name. Nothing will stand in his way—until he meets her.

Yes! All of my books fall into the clean and wholesome romance category of literature. If there is any trigger warning, it’s listed in the book’s description but the majority are suitable for everyone. (Triggers include emotional abuse in one book, extensive talk of consummation in another that is more appropriate for an adult rather than young teen, and some non-glorified violence and substance abuse in my two contemporary books).
At the time of writing this (November, 2025), I have two upcoming projects. I will be writing the second book in the Bridwell’s Grand Tour series for Haven, and I will also be writing the third in The Earl’s Sisters series (independently published) called Wit, Wiles, and Courtship. Now all I have to do is remember to update this again at some point!

If you’re new to my books, I think the best thing to do is to check out my reading guide (link in the menu). This lists all my books from the stand-alone novels to the series. It’s gives a bit of information on where they are set and when – and also includes some of the tropes in each book. At the bottom of that page is a list of my books in chronological order. And hopefully you will find what you’re looking for!

This book is incredible! It is romantic, charming, sweet, heartfelt, and just all around amazing! Whenever I picked up “A Fall From Grace”, I felt like I traveled back in time, and went on an amazing journey with this story!

The characters are wonderful and I enjoyed the way they reacted in both the hardships and good times in their lives. This is a great regency romance book!

Wonderful characters, witty dialog, great storyline!
I like that we see how the characters feel about each other even though they don’t realize it until much later. Leave it to the kids to see it, too!

Absolutely loved this book! What on earth took me so long to pick this one up? Don’t make the same mistake. Such a swoony romance with everything I love about the Regency period.

I got lost in the pages of this book. That isn’t something that I can always say about modern historical fiction. The wonder of Selina and Lucius’s tale is that it was smooth. At no point did there seem to be a modern disconnect.

Loved this book! It had such fun characters even the “bad” ones were fun to get to know. I liked seeing the characters grow and change their lives to be better people (most of them anyway). I absolutely loved Lucius’s youngest sister and brother- I’m hoping they will get stories as well.

I absolutely love this story and the books that follow in the series. Jennie Goutet is one of my favorite authors.

I’d say very good. I enjoyed myself while reading this, I enjoyed getting a glimpse into French court, fashion and society. I felt it was written authentically without being tedious or boring. The main characters were likeable. The Hero was fun and the heroine steady and strong character. I thought the story was flirty and showed attraction between the two and clean. A few kisses, no innuendo, or overly descriptive passionate make out scenes. The story was interesting and had a great flow. I loved the little details that bring the story to live and add believability.
